If you discover a mess that has already happened, take the rottweiler puppy in another area and clean up the spot. Please do not blame your dog in any other way. If he goes in the house, you fell down on the job.
To properly housebreak your Rottweiler , be aware of your duty as a master and dont scold him in case of an accident as perversely it will increase fear and mistrust in your dog.
When the time comes that you have observed no accidents in the house for two weeks straight and when you can say that your rottweiler dog is learning what "Go potty" means, you may start extending his "free time" out of the crate. If the accident is repeated later again you dog needs further training. He is still a kid and can not be trained in a single day that which is the place to go for potty.
Also a change in place could influence your rottweiler dogs. They take time to familiarize them to the new area. The case is same for even dogs who are completely housetrained.
Most of the times, rottweilers have a tendency to prove their existence to their opponents by such accidents.
Even older dogs who dont have accidents must vacate the crate every there hours. A more practical schedule for an adult dog is upon awaking. Most dogs (like people!) will micturate within several seconds of waking up. Many will defecate within minutes of awakening.
Allow the adult dog an hour or so free in the house. Then out once more at lunch and another hour or so of free time. Back in the crate. Out again around dinner time which is usually when the dog will both urinate and defecate again.
If so, your dog can spend time with the family and watch TV or relax with you until the time you go to bed. Remember to take him out to his potty spot before he gets in to the crate to sleep. Or else, apply the same techniques and schedule using the same area, the same potty expression, the same rewards, etc.
I have seen 100 % results for this training and find modifications in dogs within a duration of three weeks. If your dog is successful in completing the job, admire him and reward him for his great task.
In case, you dont see any results after 4-5 weeks, you must speak to a dog instructor to get the experts assistance. Remember, your dog should not see you cleaning the mess.
